I had a Christmas party for the older grandkids again this year. There were 8 grandkids that were old enough to participate. We had pizza for lunch-every kids fav.-, we played bingo for lots and LOTS of prizes!, and we made snowflake cookies out of flour tortillas. The kids had so much fun. I even wore reindeer antlers! The kids frequently informed their parents that they were not invited; they were delighted that it was just them and Grandma. Grandpa conviently had to work that afternoon. I think it will be a tradition that I'll continue to carry on as long as there are little bodies that want to participate!

ReplyDeleteI can tell that you are a great grandma, and a great person. It has been so fun getting to know you. Thank you for the kindness you have shown me as I have made this transition that I feel has been a gift from my Heavenly Father. He knows what we need. Thanks again! Jamee
